What We Saw from the Stage
Maybe YOU will see yourself or recognize an old buddy!

Our Show photographer, Joyce, captured all the faces during those years of Shows; she gave all of us our opportunity to remember - - - to stir our memory banks on this trip down Memory Lane. Take your kids and your grandkids now on that trip with you. Sure, you’ll see the crazy costumes of our Show entertainers - - and, can you believe those hair-do’s!? - - but, hopefully you may see yourself in one of the shots of the audience we saw from the stage. I have tried to select a portion from the hundreds of photo negatives. My god, we were all so young then, weren’t we!

Many times when the bus pulled up, we would see the great San Onofre Outdoor Theater beginning to fill up as troops had begun arriving.

       What you shall see is WHY we did the Shows.  It is my hope that as we have worked on the photos to save them as best they might be saved, that you will be able to see up close the faces of thousands you might even recognize; faces that today would look so very different as Spring has turned to Autumn.
